Hey blog world! It feels SO great to be writing again. For the past few days, life has definitely been the road block between me and blogging. Although I haven’t been the best commenter, I have been reading and doing my best at keeping up with the blog world.
This past weekend, Stephen came to visit. We had plans of celebrating our 3 year anniversary together. We managed to squeeze in a few fun activities, but I don’t know if either of us felt like the anniversary was sufficiently observed. Seems like life got in the way of our celebration as well.
Here are the weekend highlights:
A relaxing Friday afternoon walk in the 75 degree sunshine!

Stephen and my mom both got this skirt steak plate. It was enjoyed by both. 
Sunday, Stephen and I took a trip downtown to check out a local frozen yogurt spot. Stephen and I have been lamenting the lack of frozen yogurt in our area. So when I read about Blueberry Frog on Katie’s blog, I knew a trip was in the works!
I got this delicious frozen yogurt in Plain. My toppings were raspberries, blueberries, and pineapple. YUM. This stuff ranks up there with Edy’s Tart Mango.
Stephen got Blueberry and Pomegranate with blackberries, pineapple, and strawberries. That white block on top is called mochi. It’s a Japanese treat made of rice paste. Stephen really liked it.

I’m glad you had a nice weekend with Stephen. I like that picture too, you are really enjoying that yogurt! We just got a new yogurt shop here in Columbus and it’s our first (of the “new age” yogurt shops). I can’t wait to try it!
I would take a slow cooker, for sure! I have always wanted one but never had the room. Now that we are moving, it would be perfect.

I am always so jealous of everyone enjoying frozen yogurt. There is nowhere close to where I live that sells soft serve frozen yogurt.
I would get a french press or a nice, new tea pot. Great coffee or great tea, hard choices!
I love Edys Tart Yogurt. I was looking for it the other day & wasnt able to find it. I wonder if its seasonal?
As far as some free goodies Im always in the market for more serve-wear (like plates, bowls, ya know!).
