Hey friends!
So far, my spring break has been going swimmingly. I spent my day relaxing, tidying up my apartment, and working on my first vlog!
A few weeks ago, I opened myself up for Ask Me Anything questions. So today’s blog, er vlog, answers one reader’s question…What does my apartment look like?

I was also asked: Do I like living alone?
The answer to this question is a resounding YES. I absolutely adore it. I’ve always had roommates, so this is my first experience with having my home to myself. At first, I was concerned that I might get bored, but I’ve found that I’m quite good at entertaining myself. Plus, once I get home from work I usually have so many things to do that I don’t have time to be bored.
I’m also a huge scaredy cat, so thought that I might be afraid all the time if I lived by myself. It did take some getting used to, but I’m not nearly as neurotic now as I used to be. I am always incredibly cautious though!
Living by oneself also makes it easier to buy and store copious amounts of food. It also makes cooking and baking much more convenient.

Aside from my real golden retriever, I also have a big stuffed dog like yours. His name is Mr. Detective and he resides on top of my tv so Murphy doesn’t eat him. I’ll have to introduce him on the blog sometime.

I still live with my parents, but I lived alone for a week when I was house sitting and I didnt really like it. I mean maybe it was just boring because I was there like pretty much 24/7..I suppose if I was working that week or had more plans out side of the house it wouldnt have been so bad. but I get lonely!

I live with roommates and honestly I’d LOVE to live by myself. I’m really anal and like my space so I think it’d be awesome
A Southern accent? Oh no! I’ve never thought I had one!
I of course live with my hubs and baby girl. I do love it because I love being with them, but definitely enjoy the rare times I have the house to myself.
i feel dizzy. hahaha. I love living with my bf…it’s trying at times..and pure sin but it’s been a great experience.
omg before i was with scott, it’s been 11 long and mostly blissful years
i relished and savored living alone! and when i was pregnant i was like whoa, now another person is gonna live with us 
and i still love and enjoy when the two of them are gone together and i am home alone. bliss!

When I moved to GA I live alone in a one bedroom.. i liked it A LOT…. I have never had a roommate…
Now that I am married I like having someone else.. when he is out of town I feel like something is missing.

I love your apartment! It seems spacious compared to mine. I also live alone, in a big city where living is very expensive. My little junior one bedroom is very small, but homey, and I do like living alone. My cat keeps me company, haha. Does your cat live in your apartment? I didn’t see her in the video.

I live at home with my mum stepdad and sister, but I was living with roomates. I like living alone though, I’m really good at entertaining myself too
I always lived with roommates and then for 6 months before Keith and I got married I lived alone. I honestly LOVED it. Now I obviously live with Keith but when he goes out of town on the weekend I cherish the alone time! Sometimes having the house to myself is awesome!
I just moved in with my fiance, and so far, it’s fabulous. I really enjoyed living alone (and did so from the end of 2006 until last weekend, ha) but I actually didn’t enjoy cooking for one. I thought it was a total pain and food always went to waste. I relished my alone time but I always looked forward to sharing a home and a life with someone, so I love this, too!
Also, I just watched a little of the blog (honestly, not a big video person but I just had to see the real “pad”!) and I can beat you for a more ancient TV. The remote looks like a gameboy!
And you do have an accent. LOVE IT! I’m eagerly anticipating my first y’all.
Love the house tour! And I do think I would be great at living by myself. I love alone time and doing things my way! I do love living with my boyfriend though. It’s so comfortable and easy. Both of us just enjoy spending time together and mutually respect alone time too, so it’s a good balance

I definitely didn’t sleep in a house alone until I was in college. I was freaked out at first (and can still freak myself out), but I’m getting over it. I do enjoy alone time. Sometimes I get excited when Matt works late and I can enjoy SSB (secret single behavior)
Hee hee, I feel like I was physically there to see your place. I like to live by myself, but I don’t have the finance to fund my own place. Next year, I’ll probably be living with 20 other girls…eek!

I have always lived with roommates or my husband, but I think I would really enjoy living along. My roommates always got on my nerves 
I think I’d get scared living alone. When len is out late, I can’t help but notice every crink and crack in the floor. I imagine that once I live alone, I’d never want to go back. I do miss living with girlfriends and chit chatting all the time, or consulting on an outfit.

I love your place!!! So cute! I am totally with you on living alone! My last roommate in college was a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! When I finally lived alone (for only a year – sad!), it was the happiest year in awhile. Living with others can be really stressful. I never got lonely or scared being alone, it was so freeing!
I never really lived by myself for more than three months at a time (during the summer when my roomies would go home), and I always RELISHED the first month…and then was really lonely by month two! I love living with my hub, because it’s like having my best friend around all the time (cheesy, I know)…plus, I’m a scaredy cat too!
